I thought I had seen the last of the sayote. I was wrong. Sayote is available here in Bakersfield.
I thought too that I would not see the walis-tambo (soft broom) with the Baguio City woven onto the handle. Again, I was wrong.
I guess I won't be missing these two.

ReplyDeleteI have been here in the US for more than 15 years but I keep discovering that whatever is available in the Philippines, they are available here too...as long as you live in nearby communities where the majority is Asian or Filipino.
Three weeks ago, I just realized that my favorite chocolate tablets (binatirol na tsokolate?) that we used to have during christmas are available here year round...
