An Easter Affair with the Kababayans.

There is an organization here in the city that is making efforts to keep the Filipino community active - the Filipino Community of Bakersfield and Vicinity, Inc. I met and mingled with them for a few hours for the Easter Celebration. According to an officer of the organization there are about 350 families in the roster and more are signing up. We met people and engaged in conversations. We were just taking in the sights and sounds - as well as the food - and processing them.

It's a new experience!
