Our first Ebay Auction

Bidding on Ebay has been going for quite a while now. I had a fleeting interest back in the Philippines.

Yesterday, my family decided to join an auction for a laptop. We signed up and looked for items we were interested in. We found a laptop that was just perfect for a niece back in the Philippines. We posted our first bid; waited a few minutes. Then a message appears informing us we were outbided by another. We posted our bid; he posted a higher bid. The bidding war was in its final minutes. It was tense. With the family members shouting in the background to type faster, I did my best to pound on the keys and slide the mouse to the appropriate key and icons. In the next bid post my fingers suddenly froze and the mouse decided to take a life of its own. We were frantic! It was the last few seconds and we still were deciding the amount. Then it all stopped - we lost the bid. The experience was awesome but it frazzled us. We decided to calm down a bit. There are other items to "fight" over.
