Connections better than hard work



I guess not anymore. We've known this for so long. Many swear by it and now another Pew Research confirms it.

By a margin of 46-42, Americans say that the rich are rich mainly because they know the right people or are born into wealth rather than because of hard work, ambition or education. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the upper class is less likely to attribute their success to family ties or connections with 56% saying that rich people achieve their money through hard work.   1. *sigh* when you look at society today, it does reflect the fact that connections can get to places you want. Maabilidad ang mga ito. Although at the end of the day, it is the person's moral values that will determine his fate. Connections may get you somewhere, pero kung asa ka ng asa sa iba, someday you will find that you don't have a solid foundation you can rely on.
