I haven't even started and my future job is being threatened

I'm studying health information technology while the US in a recession. Jobs are scarce and there are large lay-offs around. Many are advising that to survive a recession, you go back to school while you're out of work. Well, I'm doing that, hoping to cash-in on the health information industry after I get my degree in HIT.

Now, there are plans to outsource HIT to the Philippines - RP to benefit from US plan on medical IT . .   But It'll be good for the homeland.
