Pinakurat - Surprise!

Back in the Philippines, we were crazy about this sensational dip! My wife first encountered the sauce and introduced it to me in one of our meals. We were hooked immediately and had to have a bottle ready for any meal, any time of the day! Unfortunately, we can only buy pinakurat in a certain mall. So, we had to order it from my sister who works in Manila. She would bring that to Baguio during her weekend trips home. When I have trips to Manila, I make it a point to bring home a few bottles.

It's true, it's a favorite! Unfortunately, it's not available where we are. If only they can import them to California, we wouldn't be homesick.
